Our Story
We do not sell metal. We sell emotions, turned into jewelry — a way to carry a story close to your heart.
Four centuries after they were written, Shakespeare's words still describe love, ambition, grief and hope better than most things written yesterday. We started Shakespeare Jewels because we believe those words deserve a form you can wear — not printed on a page, but engraved in gold, close to the skin.
"We are such stuff as dreams are made on."
Every piece begins with a line — chosen for what it means, not simply for how it sounds. Our design studio works with independent goldsmiths to translate that emotion into form: a signet ring for a soliloquy on identity, a pendant shaped like two lovers who cannot be parted, a cuff inspired by unchecked ambition. Each piece is hand-finished in small batches, and many are numbered as limited editions.
Every order is packaged like a small manuscript: a black box, an ivory interior, artisan paper, a handwritten note, a fragment of the play that inspired the piece, and a certificate of authenticity closed with a wax seal. We want the moment of opening the box to feel as considered as the jewelry inside it.
Shakespeare Jewels is an independent jewelry house inspired by the plays and sonnets of William Shakespeare, which are in the public domain. We are not affiliated with, licensed by, or endorsed by any Shakespeare estate, trust, theatre, or official organization. Any resemblance to registered marks or protected branding is unintentional, and we review our naming and use of quotations market by market.
We believe fine jewelry should mean something. That's why every collection is researched with care, every quote is chosen for its context, and every piece is made to be worn — and passed on — for a lifetime.
